Blogging

1. As discussed in this post on blogging, and my post on Bluehost about the platform to host your blog, there are ways to make money through blogging that are more passive, such as with ads. Although I cannot say ads will be a big money maker, it is worth mentioning.

– Side note: There are other ways to make money through blogging. Some are affiliate advertising programs, sponsored ads, or offering services on your blog.

-Depending on the type of program or service, some can become a bit more passive than others once you do the initial set up.

-There are some plug-ins on WordPress.org that allow for automatic insertion of affiliate links. Of course not all ways with blogging are passive, or result in much money depending on the method, it is worth mentioning them here.

2. I use Bluehost for hosting this blog, which includes WordPress.org. This is an option that can offer you the WordPress option including plug-ins, and so, the opportunity to add some advertising programs to your website (sometimes really easily!). Click this link below!

Be a Service Provider providing services like Handyman tasks, Cleaning, Personal Assistant help, Moving Services, Furniture Assembly, Data Entry, etc.

    • Check out its page on services offered for ideas of what you could do.
    • From cleaning, to handyman tasks, helping with anything moving, home repairs, help with events, running errands, black friday help with shopping, Thanksgiving tasks help, designing services, personal assistant, data entry, and so much more, there are many ways you can help out around events and the house for money as a Task Rabbit.
  2. Angies List – Provide services and get reviews on https://www.angieslist.com/.
  3. Care.com
  4. Handy.com
    • Services provided on Handy include moving services, furniture assembly, home improvement projects, cleaning, and more.
    • Also, visit https://www.handy.com/ for links to the Handy app for iOS and Google Play.

Grocery Shop – Get Paid to Shop for Other People’s Grocercies

  1. InstaCart. To apply to become as shopper for InstaCart, sign up at this https://shoppers.instacart.com/.
  2. Shipt. Learn more and apply to become a Shipt shopper https://www.shipt.com/be-a-shopper/.

Others

  1. Mplace (App) – a document review job platform for attorneys.
  2. Post on Craigslist for services/jobs you are offering, or do a general search for open jobs. [P.S. – also search social media!]
  3. Search on Indeed for part time, online, or full time jobs.
  4. Check out Survey Merchandiser. It has some more side jobs in addition to the side gigs it has. See my post on gig apps for it.

Here are some broad suggestions to consider too:

  • Sell an online course.
    • Check out Udemy as a potential option.
  • Publish and sell an eBook.
    • Note that while Amazon is a great way to do this, you CAN sell an eBook via other methods.
      • BUT: also note the Amazon Business Program. Create a free link to get started. For more details check out this page.

    • For example, you can sell it on Etsy.
    • You can also use Shopify – which is a great e-commerce platform.
  • Put your photos on goods to sell such as t-shirts, mugs, etc. One option is Redbubble.com.
    • Check out my store here: My Redbubble page. 
    • Also check out Amazon’s options for selling handmade objects or selling in general, Etsy, and Fiverr.
    • And for print on demand, see Printify.com and Printful.com. I used Printful for my owl products on my Etsy shop.
  • Tutor Online.
    • VIPKids is one I have seen mentioned, but it requires teaching experience.
    • There are many others. So check a few out and find one that works for your experience.
  • Data Entry.
  • Virtual Assistant.
  • Dropshipping.
    • See Printful.com and Printify for some options with print on demand services.
  • Flipping.
  • Get crafty and sell your crafts or really anything!
