Earn Rewards While Exercising With Apps
Earn Rewards While Exercising With These Apps
I enjoy using apps while getting in physical activity because it can be a nice way to have the time pass by and encourage me to keep moving. And apps that let me earn rewards while exercising are a special bonus.
So I use a lot of apps to earn rewards while exercising in a few types of ways, such as;
- While walking (for example, with apps that reward you for steps but many more – read on!);
- Doing some at-home targeted exercises (like planks, when watching short videos can be a great distraction!); and
- Using an elliptical or an under the desk / mini exercise & fitness device.
Notable Exercise Device I Use & Earn Rewards While Exercising with These Apps
Before we dive in, here is one thing I love to use to earn rewards while exercising.
Stamina InMotion E1000 Compact Strider
I find it easy to use while doing some of the apps listed below. And it makes the time fly for me. So it is a win-win. And it was while using this product that I thought about this post idea.

Find What Works for You!
But, you should find what works with your exercise routine. Perhaps you want something that keeps you motivated TO exercise. Or maybe you like to watch video content or play games while you get exercise. Don’t worry because there is something that can work for anyone.
NOW here are 5 apps to earn rewards while exercising that can easily be included in your routine!
5 Apps to Earn Rewards While Exercising AND Related App Suggestions!
1. Dabbl
To earn points with Dabbl and earn gift cards, you can: watch sponsored videos, complete short surveys, and view short ads.
With all these quick options, this is a great app to use while moving. Or when using a mini elliptical, compact strider, or under desk peddler. And to be honest, a lot at the gym too!
Incorporate These Apps into Your Routine
Even though I like small at home ellipticals and under desk options (along with walking), you can incorporate some quick surveys and video watching activities into other exercise routines that you already have (if safe of course).
And this is especially true for apps that reward you for watching videos. Just think when you may be watching something or using your phone anyways… why not make money instead?

2. Lympo
Next up is Lympo, which is a great step motivator app with challenges to join that really encourage you to get out walk more (whether its a short, brisk walk or a longer goal).
While these challenges vary in time and required steps to complete, this is kind of great because it makes it easier to fit into your routine PLUS earn rewards and read fun tips.
To join each challenge (and there are multiple throughout the day), you must go into the app. Then, you should link it to a health app so to lower GPS usage; but I still find I need to go in and “redeem” my steps.
When you complete a challenge, then you get points and helpful tips, and sometimes discounts.
What I Like Most About the Lympo App
- Earning rewards is great, but I like this app more so because it is a great motivator.
- For example, some quick challenges may include: get a short evening walk (0.6 miles), grab some morning coffee (0.4 miles), etc.
- Also, some are around getting activity in the morning, after lunch, in the afternoon and evening. Others may encourage you to do some activities like go explore nature or your neighborhood.
- Basically, good and fun suggestions to get you moving!

3. Sweatcoin
With Sweatcoin, you walk outside to earn points. These can be redeemed for various items. Read about Sweatcoin more in my post on 5 apps that reward you to move.
So I have talked about this app a lot and for a while now, and I still love it. I love how I can track my activity levels over time, and I personally have begun to really enjoy that it encourages you to get outside (since only those steps count).
Location services:
- Note that you need to have location services always on to have your steps recorded.
- I do not find this to be a battery drain.
- But if you update iOS systems, for example, you may need to check this app to make sure it is still recording your activity.
Other Ways to Earn Sweatcoins
In addition to walking outside, you can earn Sweatcoins with daily check-in bonuses and friend referrals.

4. VeryDice
This is one I especially like to do while doing exercises such as planks, because it keeps me distracted with the short videos!
Read my review on the verydice app for more information.
In short:
- To get rolls, spin the wheel daily, take surveys, watch ads (up to around 5 per hour), try new offers, and refer friends.
- Then, you use the rolls to spin dice – which gets you tickets.
- Tickets can be redeemed for gift cards and other various items. Also, tickets can be used for extra entries into the raffles part of the app. But you can enter sweepstakes for items and gift cards for free by watching a short ad (up to 6 a day).

A Note about Daily Check-Ins and Why You Should do Them
Daily check-ins bonuses can rack up and are super quick to do. Usually when apps offer a daily check-in incentive, then its a pretty quick task such as just clicking a button or watching a short video.
The incentive is usually low, but it adds up.
Plus, these can be good to do while just quickly waiting for a machine even at the gym! So look out for other apps that you personally like that reward you for daily check-ins.
So keep this in mind:
- Even if it is a very small amount…. when these check-ins take very little time, easily fit into your daily routine quickly, and (a bonus) are in an app that you really enjoy anyways, then you ARE benefiting from doing this.
- Always remember that every bit adds up!
Final thoughts
So, as I mentioned earlier in the post, I came up with this list based off of my experience earning rewards while exercising. And specifically while using an elliptical, doing planks, and walking outside.
For me, these specific apps can usually fit in with my exercise pretty easily plus motivate me to get physical activity in. But you may be different. And that is okay! Check out some other ways to make money on my blog if this does not work for you.
Use this list above for ideas. And then see if you can easily earn while exercising with apps that will give you a little bit of extra cash, gift cards, or items while you get fit.
