5 More Apps that Pay to Play Games on Your Phone – Earn Money or Rewards
1. Play and Win (or Play&Win)
- Availability: play this app for free by downloading it on the App Store or on Google Play. Check out the app’s official site for links to both as well as terms and conditions.
- Referral Program? Yes.
- Use my Play&Win referral link here: https://playandwinapp.page.link/vJrqApB9UikgziyQ7
- Rundown: there is a 50 question game at the beginning of every hour. Trivia style app! You have 10 seconds to answer (with a few second buffer) and the faster you answer, the more points you get. Some ads, but not bad. Also, it is fun!
- Prize awarded: Winning usually gets you $10, but can be higher. Also, if there is a tie, then the winnings may be split.
- Games: Note that the new games begin ON THE HOUR. So if you start one at 5:59 pm, you will not have time to finish it as a new one will begin at 6:00 pm.
- You can see your ranking after each question you answer.
- Also, you can get achievements which you can claim and use to add to your total points achieved.
- For each question, you earn more points the faster you answer. You have about 12 seconds to answer a question.
- If you watch video ads you can use certain helpers throughout the game (more below).
- Extra Help via Boosters: By watching video ads, you can collect one of three things to help you out while playing a game.
- 1) Extra Time. 2) Switch Questions. 3) Eliminate 2 of the wrong answers (from the 4 available).
- Each one can only be used once per game. But you can collect more than one so you have them ready to go!
- Points and Achievements: Points are based on how many questions you get right and also how fast you answer the question.
- Additionally, you get more points for maintaining your streak of correct answers. If you get an answer wrong, then you have an option to watch a video ad (usually about 30 seconds long) to maintain your streak. You will not get points from that wrong answer, but it will give you more points with the subsequent right answers you get.
- Achievements can be collected for various events such as your first win, completing a certain number of games, etc.
- The points from achievements can then be added to a given games point total to help you get into the top spot and win some money. NOTE though you cannot cash out until you reach the payout minimum….
- Payout minimum? Yes. $100. This part sort of is a bummer because it could take a while for you to reach it.
- Payment method: PayPal.
2. SpinToWin
- Availability: download on the App Store or Google Play. Check out the app’s official website for links to both: http://spintowinslots.net/.
- Rundown: Play slot games (various types which is a fun twist) for a chance to win money and other rewards.
- Do you have to pay? No. But you can opt to for additional chances towards winning more such as extra coins and more.
- Daily login bonus? Yes. Spin the wheel once per day for extra coins which increase by logging in daily. AND there is an hourly bonus for a free scratch card with watching a short ad!
- PLUS, also check your email because it will give you a lot of extra spins, scratch-off cards, and other goodies.
- Can you win without paying? Yup. I have won a little bit by just playing for fun.
- Pay-out minimum? NO! This part is great to me. Win a dollar? You can cash out right away and get it in about a week. Sure it may just be a dollar, but again you can cash out immediately and not have to build up that balance. Point is – you do get what you earn.
- Referral Program? Yes.
- Payment Method: PayPal. When you win you have the option of getting paid out via PayPal or using that towards more coins to spin the slots for additional chances to win.
- NOTE age requirement: You must be over 17 to play this.
- Ads? Yes. But fairly minimal.
3. Cube Cube
- Availability: Get this game on the App Store.
- Referral Program? Yes. Get $10 free when you make your first deposit using my referral link to sign-up: https://skillz.com/p/F1GNH/1GM. Share yours then with friends to earn more once you start!
- Friends that use your link and make a deposit will get you a free $10.
- Rundown: This game is similar to tetris in my opinion. You compete with other players. While the game offers you practice rounds using in-app currency, you can earn some money in the app to spend on games for real money payouts or you can deposit some extra cash.
- Pay-out minimum? Yes.
- Do you need to spend money to win money on Cube Cube? Likely. You will be able to try out some of the games that reward cash without spending money after you win a certain number of practice round games. However, whether or not you reach the minimum balance to get a pay-out and see that cash will depend. It may be possible to do so if you are really good, so it is worth a try.
4. BubbleShooter
- Availability: Get this game on the App Store or on Google Play.
- Referral Program? Yes. Get $10 free when you make your first deposit using my referral link to sign-up: https://skillz.com/p/EJELK/8W. Share yours then with friends to earn more once you start!
- Friends that use your link and make a deposit will get you a free $10.
- Rundown: Another Skillz game, so you can use your same log-in as Cube Cube (although I ran into trouble here). A lot of it will remind you of Cube Cube or other games by this developer, but this is more a match the same type of bubbles shooter game.
- This is a bubble shooter game. You can play the practice games for “z’s”. They range in how much the entry fee is.
- After winning about 10 practice games, then you are awarded a few dollars in the app. It is not enough to cash out, but it does give you some actual money to play the games that award in cash.
- My thoughts? This is a fun game but it may be difficult to win money without spending some. So if that is not something you are willing to do, then I would suggest playing it for fun and seeing how far that gets you.
5. Winning Slots
- Availability: Find this on the App Store or on Google Play.
- Rundown: This popular casino style slot game is one that has a lot going on. While it is free to start playing, I would say it is not something to jump into – at least be careful about spending money on it.
- In short, it is a slots game app that has a chance to win money or items on Amazon.
- But, there are other aspects to the app which can be a good or bad thing depending on how you look at it.
- However, in my opinion so far, it looks very time consuming to potentially win a reward unless you spend some money.
- Pros: the many components can add some novelty to this app. There are options to get points towards rewards (items offered on Amazon) by means that do not cost money such as watching videos and playing a lot.
- Cons: it freezes a lot. Looks a bit difficult to win without having to spend money. Has many components to it.
- Cashing-out: Use in-app tokens to claim prizes. This is similar to other ticket type apps in a way such as VeryDice and TotalTrivia.
Another app that rewards items worth mentioning here that you may want to check out is Win It!
And another scratch off game is LuckyDay.
Final Thoughts
There are many apps out there that can legitimately pay you to play and many apps that pay you to play games via money or other rewards. Try some out and find what is best for you.
Some may be difficult to make money or earn rewards from without spending money, which I personally choose not to do. So, it is up to you on that. My advice? Stick to ones you just find fun! As long as the ads are minimal, you are still just playing games on your phone like any other game app, but playing games on your phone with a chance for money is kind of cool.
