Get Paid to Move – 4 More Apps!

4 More Apps to Get Paid to Move

So I have written about apps that reward you to move before. So check out that post for 5 apps that do so. But get paid to move or earn other cool rewards with a few more apps. Because for me at least, I find them all worth a try!

Get Paid to Move / Earn Money or Rewards to Move

And if you are doing gig type jobs such as the ones I mention in other posts or in my master money making list post, then you can get some money or cool discounts for your steps AND some reward you with simply traveling. Read on.

Get Mobile and Earn Rewards for Moving (Outside AND Inside!)

Also, I have talked about apps to do while exercising to earn some extra while on an elliptical for example. Plus how to earn while exercising.

AND now, are you looking for more apps that pay to move? Here are some!

1. Lympo

  • Rundown: So with this app, you can have your steps tracked via Apple Health (or another similar program for Google users) which are useful for benefits.
    • You do not need to have it always open or running.
    • But you need to join challenges to get the Lympo coin points and sometimes discounts (or tips for healthy habits!).
      • So the challenges require a certain amount of steps and vary throughout the day. They all run for a set period of time – usually corresponding with the time of day.
      • While some are rather short in both distance and time to complete, others give more time.

How to Get Points on Lympo and Rewards

  • How to apply steps: if you join a challenge, and have the app linked up with an allowed fitness app (like Apple Health for iPhones), then you can see the steps tracked by your phone and apply them then by going into the app and hitting click apply.
    • It seems as though you need to join challenges and apply your steps which can be a bit of a pain.
    • You can also collect so many steps per 24 hour period. WHICH resets per day based on when you downloaded the app.

More on Challenges in Lympo

  • Challenges require you to walk a given distance in a set amount of time. Ex: morning run, grab a lunch, lazy Sunday evening, etc.

  • Rewards: by completing challenges you get Lympo coins which you can exchange for cryptocurrency. Also, you may get discounts for certain products or some pretty good health-related tips on topics around sleep, exercise, getting outdoors, relaxing, etc.

Pros and Cons

  • Pros: I like the tips on here and the challenges are a fun motivating tool because of the time limit. Also, indoor steps count! Yay! So constant GPS tracking is not so much of a data drain and I personally think they should count!
  • Cons:
    • For me, having to join the challenges manually is a bit annoying, but it can be motivating instead if you need something to just work towards.
    • Personally, I wish just joining was enough too. But, that hasn’t worked for me yet. And so I have to go in and apply my steps through the app just clicking the apply steps button. Although I sometimes just forget.
    • Frankly, you won’t make a lot here. You may get some cool rewards and motivation when you need it like at lunch or end of the day, but do not expect to get rich.

My View on Lympo

  • My View on the Lympo App: This is definitely an app to check out!
    • Since it can encourage you to get up and move around inside as well, unlike most walking/movement-related apps that have an award system, I think it is really great to motivate anyone to just get moving a little without closing it off to people that may not be up to being outdoors.
    • The fact it counts indoor steps I think is great with recent health issues but good all year long because it CAN motivate you to walk around indoors which is still better than nothing!

2. LifeCoin

  • Rundown: So, this app is similar to Sweatcoin.
    • With it, you can get daily reward LifeCoin rewards by watching ads.
    • Also, and the main point, by walking outside. Make sure your app is connected to a fitness app.
    • Mine personally has not given me many steps at all, and I walk a bit.
    • But I think you really need to make sure your app is properly connected to a tracking app and likely running in the background to get your steps verified for LifeCoins. [I will update if I find out better tips]
  • What are LifeCoins? A form of cryptocurrency that can be exchanged for other cryptocurrency or rewards.
  • Rewards:
    • For verified outdoor steps, you earn LifeCoins which can be exchanged for various types of items.
    • Some include an iPhone X at the moment (but at a hefty amount of LifeCoins).
  • Referral system? Yes.
    • With the refer system, you can get 5 LifeCoins for each friend that signs up.

Pros and Cons of LifeCoins as an App to Get Paid to Move

  • Pros:
    • It offers a wide array of awards.
    • And it does not seem to use much battery or data.
  • Cons:
    • This app does not register many steps for me personally which makes it hard for me to get into.

3. Miles

  • Rundown:
    • Essentially you earn points or miles for ALL travel.
    • Awarding all travel is sort of neat and unique because it rewards walking, running, driving, public transit, and so on.
    • It is based on distance and so no uploading receipts or trying to sign up for cashback deals in advance (which a lot of driving or public transit reward apps will have you do). But walkers can still get something too!
    • IN FACT, walkers and people using public transit get the miles of their trips multiplied! So for walking you get 10x the amount of miles.
    • This get paid to move app really has everyone’s back in a fair way I think!

Rewards and Miles App Referral Program

  • Rewards: You can miles earned for various rewards. The rewards change frequently, but usually include a lot of local type deals and extra freebies or deals with companies all over.
    • Not bad since it’s free to download. Like the others here!
  • Referral program? Yes.
    • Get 1,000 miles for each friend that downloads the app and makes their first trip. This is up to 500 friends.
    • Use my link above for a sign-up bonus.

4. Step Younger+

Overall Review

Honestly, the ads are a bit out of control on this one.

Yes, it rewards you with steps that can be exchanged for Amazon gift cards. But it also rewards you for more gambling type activities where you can either watch an ad or use your energy (steps walked) to spin the wheel or throw knives at a watermelon for possible gift card credit or other rewards.

However, even if you forgo the watch an ad to double your points option, you are still getting an ad. It may be a good app since it offers a combo option to earn through moving and other tasks.

More How you Earn with this Get Paid to Move App

According to the app, you only need to open the app once to sync steps. BUT, my experience is you need to go in and click to collect your “energy” for steps walked. Plus perhaps play some in-app games with that energy for puzzle pieces for Amazon Gift Card Rewards.

StepYounger+ Quick Take

At the end of the day, it’s still a free pedometer or step counter. But with possible rewards. Just know the ads are heavy on this one.

Honestly, I have not used it much because I got it rather recently. It looks like a neat get paid to move option (which I love), even though it is Amazon gift card credit (which I am totally okay about), the ads are a bit much. And I may update when I see more incentives.

It gets good reviews so far though and apps that reward you for being active are generally a good thing in my book.

How to Download

Get Step Younger+ for iOS here or get it on Google Play here.

Final Thoughts

So use these other apps to move and do not forget about the other ones out there as mentioned in:

And do not forget to see my master referral codes list for sign-up and welcome bonus codes for these apps and others.
