Note About These Apps

So it is a good idea to note that not all games which reward you with money or gift cards are created equal. Or they may not be something you are great at (sorry!)

And yes the common thought is it will include tons of ads. This can be true.

But take stock of what games you already play on your phone for free.

If you already have to watch a bunch of ads anyways, then trying out a game that may eventually pay you in cash, gift cards, or prizes may be fun for you while earning something playing a game. 

Also, note that some may eventually require you to pay in money to have a chance at earning. While some of these let you get money credited to your game’s account via referring friends, I usually only use these apps for as long as I can for free.

But that is up to you on how you want to use them! Especially if you like them.

More Apps to Get Paid to Play Games

Here are free apps that pay to play games (cash or other rewards). YES you can spend money. But you do not have to!

1. Words Luck: Search, Spin & Win

  • Availability: get the app on the iOS App Store or on Google Play (titled Words Luck – Free Word Games & Win Rewards)
  • Rundown: match the letters provided to form a word from 3-7 letters. If you need clues, then you can watch 30-60 second videos to get 2 clues. 
  • Clues/Hints: so these let you either eliminate some of the available letters to choose from or eventually, when you only have enough letters to fill the blocks for the word, then put the first, second, and so forth letter in as a hint.
  • Lives: So you have a number of lives per se every 20-40 minutes. After this, you need to watch videos for more.
    • Or you wait for the 20 minute time to run down.
    • It looks like you start with 2 but can sometimes get an extra third before having to watch a video.

Ads

  • But a huge note about ads: This game has A LOT.
    • So you will be watching a few anyways before running out of hints or lives.

Limit on Daily Rounds

  • Another note: The number of rounds you can play per day is limited.

Points and Payments

  • Points: after finishing a certain number of rounds (which honestly is unclear), you get some fraction of a gem. 
  • Payout Minimum: You need 10 gems to get paid out.
  • Payout Method: PayPal.
  • Bonus Points or Referral Program: No.
  • Daily Check-In Rewards? Yes.

My Opinion on WordsLuck as one of the apps that pay to play games?

Do not play for rewards. Personally I enjoy this game but it takes a long time to get close to the amount for cashing out. And you will see a lot of ads. So maybe play while doing something else.

2. Word Relax

  • Availability: To download this app, go to the iOS App Store or Google Play.
  • Rundown: With this app, you line together words in a crossword formation using the letters given to you. So sort of like scrabble. 

  • Hints: You can get more hints to add letters to the board by using in-game coins that you receive from completing levels or watching ads. 

Ads??

  • So now how many ads are we talking about? Not that many ads on here honestly but if you want help to solve a puzzle, then you may watch more.

Getting Paid

  • Payout: After completing 20 levels, you get some cash amount added to your payout balance.
  • Cashout Minimum: To cash out, you need $20 in your account balance.
  • Payout Method: PayPal or Amazon gift card.

Is there a Referral Program or Daily Check-in Bonus for Word Relax?

  • Referral Program? No.
  • Daily Check-in Bonus? Yes.
My Opinion on Word Relax? Should you try it?
  • My take? So I really enjoy this game and have cashed out. And so I can say it’s legit. If you like this sort of word game, then it’s worth a try.
  • Will you get rich? If you play A LOT, you may make some money. But temper expectations.

3. Match to Win

  • Available: either download the app on the iOS App Store or Google Play. 
  • Note that the names vary some with these depending on what store you are in. For this one…..
    • In the Apple App Store, it is called “Match To Win: Cash Giveaway”
    • On Google Play it is called “Match To Win – Real Money Giveaways & Match 3 Game”

  • Rundown: This is very much a match 3 game but with payment *should you reach the required threshold for redeeming your in-app balance for a payout.

How to Get Paid

  • Minimum Payout Amount to Cash Out: $7.50
  • Payment method: PayPal 
  • Payout Speed: Fast. I got this almost immediately.

How to earn cash: play scratch-offs for small amounts or, as the game says, larger amounts ranging from $25-$2,500.

  • Scratch offs are awarded every few hours plus you can get them sometimes from watching videos, completing special event levels, doing the daily tasks, or getting to enough levels within a certain time if an event is running.

Does Match to Win Have a Daily Check-In Bonus and Referral Program? YES

  • Daily Check-In Bonuses? Yes. And scratchers (scratch-off cards for possible instant wins of cash or in-app game bonus items)
  • Referral Program? Yes. Get a $1,000 scratch-off for each friend that uses your referral code upon signing up.
My take? 
  • You probably will get a few dollars right away. But if you enjoy this kind of game anyway, then you should be at the minimum payout amount in not much time. Plus it is fun (I think). Especially for anyone that likes match 3 games. 

4. Lucky Now!! 

How to Play Lucky Now

  • Rundown: With this app, it has a good mix of different activities such as scratch-offs, quizzes, spin the wheel for in-game points or cash.
    • In-game coins can be used for extra turns.  Or you can watch ads for extra lives. 

How to Get Paid from Lucky Now

  • Payout Minimum: $1 for gift cards or $10 for cash
  • Payment Method: Amazon gift card using tokens, or cash via PayPal or ePayments which have a minimum payout of $10.

Referral Invite Code and Signing Up

  • Referral program? No.
  • Sign-Up Note: This app seems to really encourage using Facebook to create an account with it, but this is to use it on multiple devices.
    • You may be able to get by with one device and no registered account. 
My Opinion on Lucky Now
  • My thoughts? So it may be worth a try for most; especially because the mix of what you can do to earn keeps it interesting and there aren’t too many ads.
  • But, it is not for me.

5. Lucky Goal

  • Available: To download this app, you can go to the App Store for iOS or Google Play.
  • Rundown: With this app, you can do scratch-offs, a spin the wheel game, a mega spin, quiz game, and a lotto pick numbers game.

What Rewards Can You Earn on Lucky Goal?

  • Rewards: with some of these, you will be rewarded with raffle tickets that get you entries into the hourly, daily and monthly raffles for cash.
    • The hourly awards $1. Daily awards $50. And the monthly awards $1,000. There are also some others available such as weekly.
    • Other rewards may get you instant cash or in-game coins, which you can use to get extra turns instead of watching ads.
  • Payment Minimum Threshold: to cash out, you need an account balance of at least $10.
  • Payment Method: PayPal or ePayments.
    • So either get cash through PayPal, or you can use in-game coins for Amazon gift cards starting at $1 (but a lot of tokens are needed!)

Is Lucky Goal Free to Download?

  • Is it free to download? Yes, as are the others on the list. Although some do let you buy extra help. So generally be cautious of this since any game could change and offer this and you may be charged if you do not pay close attention. 

Is there a Lucky Goal referral code invite program?

  • Referral program? No. 

6. Lucky Slots – Good Luck

  • Available: get this app on the App Store for iOS

How to Play

  • Rundown: earn rewards through scratch-offs, spin the wheel, raffles. and lotto-type games. 
    • Another good one of the apps that pays to play games.

Referral Program for Lucky Slots

  • Referral Program? Yes.
    • Use my code for a welcome bonus – Free games, Real money.
    • Use my code to get rewarded with a bonus 20,000 tokens.
    • Then share yours for extra tokens that can be used for Amazon gift cards.
      • Get 100,000 tokens for each friend that joins and uses your invitation code. (PLUS they get tokens too!)

More on Payments with Lucky Slots

  • Other Payouts: when your balance reaches $10, then you can cash out to PayPal or ePayments. 
My Opinion
  • Thoughts? This game is similar to the Lucky Goal and Lucky Now, which I mentioned above.
    • So it may be repetitive but if you like this style then you will have tons of choices!

7. Dice Royale

How to Play

  • Rundown: With 40 rolls per every 30 minutes, roll the die to move along a board for tokens or cash.
    • Occasionally, you will land on a spot where there is a “block” that you will need to remove by watching an ad or by using 4,000 tokens.

How to Get Paid

  • Payout Method: when your cash balance is at least $10, you can cash out to PayPal.
  • Token Payout: So the tokens are in a separate balance. And they can be used to get gift cards for various retailers, such as Amazon which starts at $10.

Does Dice Royale Have a Referral Program?

  • Referral Program? No.
Other things to note about this app and apps that pay to play games

Will you get rich playing apps that pay you to play games? NO.

  • For example, this app has many ads on other money making game apps that imply it will help your pay off your credit card bill if you are in a jam.
  • But unless you are extremely lucky and they pay out in these high amounts reserved for a few if any players, do NOT look at this as something to pay your bills. 

Really this applies to many game apps that pay or reward you.

  • If you get lucky and win a bit of money, that’s awesome! And that goes for all of these.
  • Because I have not personally made huge amounts, that is not to say there is not a chance.
  • But if you have seen ads suggesting it is easy and fast, just know that will not always be the case for many people. 

So with apps that pay to play games, play them because you enjoy them or are bored looking for a game to play on your phone.

  • So I figure a chance of money is a cool perk and most people play free game apps on their phone with the same amount of ads already.
  • And there’s nothing to lose. But keep expectations realistic!
