Amazon Prime Day 2019
Amazon Prime Day 2019 is this Monday, July 15th and Tuesday, July 16th. This is when Amazon offers special sales in a whole array of product areas. Similar to Black Friday, some discounted items are of limited quantity. But there are ways to watch items so that you get an alert when the sale begins and grab them easily at a deep discount.
So here is more on how to find great deals, how to easily get Amazon gift card credit to use for their annual Amazon Prime Day, and how to learn more on Amazon Prime Day 2019. I will also share some of my favorites and additional ways to earn Amazon credit.
Quick Rundown of Amazon Prime Day – July 2019
What is it? A day (or two) of discounts and sales throughout all categories of items on Amazon.
When is it? July 15th and 16th, 2019.

Is it available only to Prime members? Yes.
- But if you do not have an Amazon Prime membership, it is not too late to get one and take advantage of Amazon Prime Day deals.

Amazon Prime Family is also a great option if you have more than one person in the house that would like to benefit from the Prime membership. You can get a free 30-day trial to it as well.
If you decide you like it, then I highly recommend buying an annual subscription which is one lump payment a year and gives you a discount compared to the monthly rate.

Since Amazon Prime Day is coming up, if you do not have Amazon Prime, now is a good time to at least do a 30-day trial and take advantage of the biggest sale of the year PLUS enjoy some of the other features of Amazon Prime for the next 30 days. These include:
- fast and FREE shipping on many items (usually 1-2 days for ones marked as prime);
- access to the Kindle lender library where you can loan one Kindle book per month;
- access to Amazon Music;
- on-demand videos, movies and TV shows with Amazon Video;

Personally, I do not like to spend money and am always looking for ways to save but I love my prime membership and see it save me money. For example, it is usually much cheaper and easier to buy household items in bulk and coupons are sometimes available. To me, buying the necessary essentials has made up for the cost in itself. But I also REALLY like the other benefits too!! I find myself ending up with extra coupons as a member, being able to get items shipped fast to my place in a time crunch (very handy for last minute gifts or for food items when I am sick), and discovering some cool ideas for home decor along with the items that can be purchased at a good price (which I love).
Plus, earning Amazon credit is possible through many money making apps and websites as well as other ways such as the promotions Amazon has now for this year’s Prime Day.

Get the Amazon Assistant Browser Extension for $10 off Your First $50 order Using the Plug-In
For new users to the Amazon Assistant browser extension, there is a limited time promotion that gives you a $10 credit when you download the browser plug-in and use it to make a purchase of $50 or more (limited time offer so pay close attention to these terms!).
Spend $10 at Whole Foods and Get $10 Amazon Credit
Until July 16th, Prime members that spend $10 at Whole Foods (and use the Whole Foods app linked to their Prime membership account if in-store or use Prime now) get a free $10 Amazon credit.
After you purchase $10 from Whole Foods, the promotional credit is automatically applied to your account. It can be used on any qualifying Amazon item.
Use Apps and Websites to Earn Amazon Credit

Final Thoughts
Deals are beginning now for Prime Day. There are ways for everyone to earn some Amazon credit for this sale. I really recommend getting the Amazon Mobile Shopping App and Amazon Assistant Browser Extension. They can be used to help keep track of your favorite deals, earn promotional credit (new users to the app), and to get some extra discounts and promos.
Also, since I am so huge on saving money, I recommend at least checking out what deals are available now. You may find something you have been wanting to get at a huge discount. Or you may just save money on something you were planning to buy anyways.
