What you showed me
So it is about the beauty in life and this world that you showed me.
And taught me. Such as believing in myself enough to try painting.
I wanted to share everything with you – even if only separated for a short period of time during the day
And so how you made me want to share little beautiful moments with you, like a picture of reflections on a pretty but otherwise normal day. But is near where we met.
And also capture the beauty we got to appreciate together
So these are mere fractions of the many little things and moments that I will keep holding onto.
Because they were only little details in an otherwise very beautiful story.
In these times, I will often have a hard time not choosing to see the ugliness in this world. But because of you, I can still see the beauty in it too. Amongst the heartache, since you are my light.
You Show Me the Beauty Still, But I Do Miss You
Yet at 4 months since losing you, it is hard not to turn to a song I would listen to when I was sad. (See this other post). Until you made me smile during it. And now you still make me smile at little moments when things otherwise feel hard.
