Pineapple Terra-cotta Plant Pot
Pineapple Terra-cotta Plant Pot – A How to And Example
Here I have painted a pineapple terra-cotta plant pot. Or I attempted to. Based off of some suggestions from Pinterest. But this is how mine turned out and how I did it.
How-to Paint Your Own
First: Paint the bottom half of the terra-cotta pot with yellow acrylic paint.
Next: Paint the top rim with green acrylic paint. For mine, I mixed a dark green with lighter green and white. And, I still think it turned out a bit bluish. So it is still drying in this picture. But, you may want to play around a bit just because of the color aspect brought in by the terra-cotta pot itself.
Ink Pen
Then, add some fun triangles (or try to) with an ink pen to the yellow portion. Also, this could be done with blank paint once the yellow paint has dried.
The Plant
Here there is a succulent which I think fits nicely with a pineapple terra-cotta pot painted for plants as it adds that green aspect to the top. But, you can choose other plants.
I have gotten more into planting recently and also reusing kitchen scraps to plant new plants as I wrote about in my last post.
Final Thoughts
This was a fun and quick project! Also, it added a little pop of extra color to my indoor garden set-up in my apartment.
Also, thank you for inspiring me to always try. I miss you desperately and wish you could be back to help me with these plants.

The Real Thing (feat. Mâhfoud) – Thyladomid
Which is available via Apple Music:
And I like these lyrics…
“Time has passed without you
Wish about you later
This phase I can promise
Anything but trouble
If you cross my way again
Can’t guarantee for anything
Hopes and dreams are what we have
Because nothing works better…
I wish I could bring back these days
And how much beauty lies within the real thing….“
