One thing that is so great is how easy a gift can be made with a minimal budget that is personal and crafty. If you need ideas, Pinterest is fantastic in this department.
How I Made My Fairy Light Plus Glow in the Dark Mason Jar
As for this? Here is what I used….
Blue Elmer’s glow in the dark glue, which you can get via Amazon here:
Fairy lights, which you can get many places but here is one link for a 6 pack option (usually it is economical to buy them in bulk and you will not regret it!):
And a Ball mason jar, which is available in a 2 pack on Amazon here:
Also, I put an artificial succulent on top, which is not in this picture but is just a suggestion!
Thoughts about this project
So what is cool about this project was I easily brushed on the glue to the inside of the mason jar using an old foam paintbrush. Then that gives it the blue iridescent look plus the glow in the dark effect. And I just added the fairy lights in there for a battery-operated light option as well.
It did not take much glue – maybe a fifth of the bottle. So you will have leftover supplies as well and may want one for yourself.
